Sometimes it happens while I'm gaming, other times it happens when I have 1 tab open in google. I also did a cinebench test to see if my PC would restart during but it didn't it appears to be random. I will link my speccy snapshot so you can see: I recently just reset the desktop to see if that would fix it (read online installing a new gpu or psu can cause that) but it didn't fix it either as my pc keeps resetting still.Ĭould the PSU I put in my PC be broken? Should I try and put my old PSU back in but keep the 1060? Since my 1080ti is dead. It said there was some corrupt files and I fixed it, now it doesn't, but the restarts perist. The first thing I tried was memtest, chkdsk, sfcscan, and dism. I knew it was broken because of other issues like loading up games, but not once did it ever restart my pc.įor the first day or so there wasn't a restart but now randomly my computer restarts and I'm not sure why. Anyways after installing the new GPU and PSU my computer seems to restart at random times. Both are used and a bit older, not brand new. So I went back to my old 1060 GPU which still seems to be working perfect, I also swapped out my PSU which used to be a 500w and is now a 600w (my friend gave me his old one but it seemed better than my current). Hello, so to quickly go over what is happening: I recently had my GPU break, not sure what happened exactly but it shut down on me and I started to get artifacts.
